About

I'm a software engineer who has worked across different parts of the stack, from backend systems and data pipelines to infrastructure and internal tooling. I currently work in the asset management industry where I collaborate closely with business units and stakeholders, which has made me increasingly curious about the product side of things and how technical decisions shape the overall system and user experience. I enjoy thinking about software not just as code but as a set of trade-offs between engineering, product, and scale.

During my undergraduate years, I also spent some time exploring AI research, particularly around BERT-based natural language processing models. I worked on a few small research projects in this space and ended up co-authoring six research papers along the way. That experience gave me early exposure to approaching problems from a research perspective. You can find my publications on my Google Scholar.

Outside of work, I'm an avid reader and keep a small public reading log on Goodreads. I'm also a bit of a professional hobbyist and enjoy trying different creative things that put the right side of my brain to use. I used to spend hours practicing calligraphy and experimenting with lettering and would often post it on my art account on Instagram. More recently, I've started sharing pieces of my internal monologue and personal reflections on my Substack.
